In 1981, producer, singer, and instrumentalist Al Jourgensen founded the American industrial metal band Ministry, a genre pioneer. In 2004, they released 'Houses Of The Molé', their ninth studio album. This album leans more towards thrash metal compared to previous Ministry releases. It's notable as the first without bassist Paul Barker, and the first to feature Mike Scaccia on guitar since 1996. The album had a single, 'No “W”', with Rey Washam as a guest.
