Rather Ripped: Vinyl LP

Rather Ripped is the 14th studio album from the American experimental rock band Sonic Youth, launched on June 13, 2006, by Geffen Records. It's the band's first album after multi - instrumentalist Jim O'Rourke left. He joined as the fifth member in 1999. Different from its recent predecessors, this album was produced by John Agnello and recorded at Sear Sound in New York City, the same studio where their 1994 album Experimental Jet Set, Trash and No Star was made. It also ended Sonic Youth's contract with Geffen, which had released their previous eight records. Side A features tracks like 'Reena', 'Incinerate', and 'Do You Believe In Rapture'. Side B includes 'Rats', 'Turquoise Boy', and 'Lights Out'.
