This is a 140-gram, blue smoke coloured vinyl LP. Mutant is honored to present the first physical pressing of The Octopus Project’s score for The Zellner Brothers’ latest film, Sasquatch Sunset. David and Nathan Zellner’s movie has no human dialogue but is full of stunningly photographed landscapes, lush forests, and rivers. The Octopus Project, long - time collaborators, have beautifully underscored it. The film shows the beauty and cruel realities of nature colliding in haunting and sometimes psychedelic ways. The album's lush, poetic, and inventive soundscape makes the film a unique and unmatched artistic work. The Octopus Project said, 'We're excited to continue working with the Zellner brothers. This is our fourth project together, and Sasquatch Sunset is especially unique. A dialogue - free film offers a lot of room for the score in storytelling. It was a pleasure to explore the characters' minds through music. We aimed to balance pastoral naturalism and crazy psychedelia in the score, just like the Zellners did with the images, and we're very happy with the result.'
