Description

This vinyl LP comes in a gatefold sleeve. Scott Walker's iconic studio albums - Scott, Scott 2, Scott 3, Scott 4, and the highly sought - after ‘Til The Band Comes In (known as Scott 5 in Japan) are individually released. These records are sourced from last year's well - acclaimed boxed set, ‘The Collection 1967 - 1970’. Each album was remastered at Abbey Road studios from the original analogue tapes. Scott Walker left the ‘pop’ world of the Walker Brothers to start an innovative and groundbreaking solo career. He began writing his own songs in the Walker Brothers, but as a solo artist, he could fully show his admiration for artists like Michel Legrand and Ennio Morricone. Working with Wally Stott and John Franz, he created rich sonic landscapes for his thought - provoking lyrics. Scott is one of the top interpreters of the Jacques Brel catalogue. The mix of covers, Brel songs, and his own compositions makes these five albums truly captivating. Admired by fellow artists and inspiring today's bands, Scott's songs have been covered by David Bowie, Marc Almond, and Saint Etienne. Scott Walker is still one of music's most mysterious talents, an artist who never compromises his artistic vision. These five albums are the highlights of his early solo years. Tracklisting: 1. It's Raining Today 2. Copenhagen 3. Rosemary 4. Big Louise 5. We Came Through 6. Butterfly 7. Two Ragged Soldiers 8. 30 Century Man 9. Winter Night 10. Two Weeks Since You've Gone 11. Sons Of 12. Funeral Tango 13. If You Go Away

To use this vinyl LP, first, make sure your turntable is clean and in good working condition. Gently place the record on the turntable and use the tonearm to lower the needle onto the first groove of the record. Sit back and enjoy the rich, warm sound. When you're done listening, carefully lift the tonearm and return it to its rest position. Then, remove the record from the turntable. Always hold the record by its edges to avoid getting fingerprints on the playing surface. Store the record in its gatefold sleeve when not in use. Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. This will help preserve the quality of the record and the sleeve over time.
