The Royston Club, a Wrexham band, has been hailed by Gigwise as “the new Welsh band most likely to make a big splash like Catfish”. In just two years of activity, this young four - piece has completed two UK headline tours with 30 dates, selling around 8,000 tickets. Their early releases have won support from BBC 6Music (Steve Lamacq, Chris Hawkins, Tom Robinson), Radio 1, Radio X (X - Posure playlist), and BBC Wales (BBC Wales A - List, Artist of the Week with Huw Stephens including three days of on - air interviews, and Janice Long live session).
