Rough Trade Records is thrilled to announce the release of the 15th anniversary edition of The Long Blondes' debut album, the highly - acclaimed 'Someone To Drive You Home', on December 10, 2021. This album, filled with indie disco classics, has a noir atmosphere and vivid storytelling. It inspired the movie 'Giddy Stratospheres'. Ahead of the new deluxe edition, a remastered version of 'Giddy Stratospheres' and 'Never To Be Repeated' are released as a digital single with new artwork by frontwoman Kate Jackson. 'Giddy Stratospheres' is a stylish single full of dancing energy. The anniversary edition, originally released in November 2006 and produced by Steve Mackey of Pulp, is a limited double - gatefold LP. Pressed on red and yellow vinyl like the album's Faye Dunaway - painted artwork, it includes the original record and 11 extra B - side tracks.
