Description

'Sunshine State' is the second EP of Liverpool - based songwriter, producer, and multi - instrumentalist Pixey on Chess Club Records. The production is by Pete Robertson (worked with Beabadoobee, Chloe Moriando, Orla Gartland), and Pixey herself co - produced it. It follows the highly - acclaimed Free To Live In Colour EP released earlier this year. Written, recorded, and produced in Pixey’s Liverpool bedroom, with extra production by James Dring (frequent collaborator of Gorillaz and Jamie T), the FTLIC EP was inspired by hardcore breakbeat and dream pop. Now, Pixey is making waves with a new, vibrant sound. The title track and lead single have propelled Pixey to be one of the UK's most exciting new artists, getting support like Jack Saunders' Track of the Week and Best New Pop on BBC Radio 1, Track of the Day on CLASH, DIY, etc. Pixey was on the NME 100 in 2021, DORK's Hype List 2021, and was chosen as a Sunday Times Breaking Act. Pixey will perform at Liverpool Sound City and Dot2Dot festival this autumn.

To use this vinyl LP, simply place it on a turntable. Make sure the turntable is clean and in good working condition. When placing the needle on the record, do it gently to avoid scratching. After use, store the vinyl in its sleeve to protect it from dust and scratches. Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain its quality over time. Don't touch the playing surface of the record with your bare hands as the oils from your skin can damage it. If the record gets dirty, you can use a vinyl record cleaner and a soft brush to clean it carefully.
