Here, Jim and William continued the creative process from their 2017 album Damage and Joy, which became their highest - charting album in over twenty years. This new record sees one of the UK’s most influential groups entering a productive second chapter. Their blend of melody, feedback, and controlled chaos is now more clearly influenced by their love for Suicide and Kraftwerk, along with a newfound appreciation for the free - spiritedness in jazz.
