Rowland S. Howard was a musical legend. His influence on the global music scene and Mute's history is huge. In 1978, he joined The Boys Next Door, founded by Nick Cave and Mick Harvey, and changed their sound, leading to the birth of The Birthday Party. After the split in 1983, Nick Cave formed the Bad Seeds, and Rowland created These Immortal Souls and collaborated with many great artists. Sadly, Rowland passed away in 2009 after recording his last solo album, Pop Crimes. For years, both Pop Crimes and Teenage Snuff Film have been hard to find physically outside Australia and fetch high prices on Discogs and Ebay. Own this rare vinyl LP and experience his unique music.
