The Mysterines' debut album 'Reeling' was crafted in just three weeks between lockdowns at Assault & Battery studios in London, under the guidance of renowned producer Catherine Marks (Wolf Alice, The Big Moon, PJ Harvey). Recorded live to preserve the songs' raw intensity, this album is a unique blend of emotions. Lia says, 'Reeling' sums up every emotion of the album in one word. It was a tough journey. The record is filled with grief, self - destruction, and heartache, all tied together with dark humor. Tracks like 'Life’s A Bitch' were almost the first single, but Lia's frequent use of the word 'bitch' changed that. 'Old Friends, Die Hard' offers grunged - up country vibes, while 'On The Run' is a giddy, free - falling take on a teenage runaway story. 'Under Your Skin' has a creepy, cultish feel, and 'The Bad Thing' is a fun track with funny lyrics about digging up an old love from the grave.

Using this album is as simple as popping it into your record player and hitting play. Sit back and let the music wash over you.
